Evil, Fear, and Trust in the Lord
In this sermon, Pastor Blaine steps away from Romans for a second week to address a question ther church is living in: why God allows evil, and how to trust Him in the middle of it. He works through what evil actually is, why suffering isn't God's judgment on your life, and why anxiety is a normal response to a broken world rather than a sign of weak faith. He then gets practical, walking through prayer, supplication, and thanksgiving, and why rest in Matthew 11 is rightly ordered work rather than the absence of it. He closes with an exercise — two columns, God's job and your job — to help you stop carrying weight you were never built to carry, with specific words for parents and first responders.
