WHY WE WORSHIP
The primary purpose of the worship ministry at Eastmont Church is to powerfully communicate the reality and greatness of God, both to believers and non-believers, through the use of musical, visual, and performing arts, and to provide believers with opportunities to express their heartfelt adoration of God. Secondly, the worship ministry exists to strengthen individual Christians and the Church as whole, by developing and utilizing the artistic talents within the Church at various levels.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR USING YOUR ABILITIES AND INTERESTS
All believers in Jesus Christ are called to worship God by the way they honor and serve Him and love one another in their daily lives. But He calls us to gather together at regular and special times to express our praise to Him in various ways. Worship can take place at small group meetings, and at various children’s, youth, men’s, and women’s activities. The whole church family gathers together at any of our three weekly services. Usually the same message is preached at all three services, but the style of music and other worship elements is different:

Weekend Worship Services:
CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP SERVICES-Saturday evenings at 6:00pm and Sunday mornings at 10:30am
BLENDED-STYLE WORSHIP SERVICES-Sunday mornings at 9:00am (combining new and traditional worship styles)

Other groups come together from time to rehearse and perform, such as Children’s Choir or Orchestra.
We have a place for just about every kind of talent and interest. Here are some other areas of skill and artistry we have used at Eastmont:
Vocal solos and ensembles; men’s quartet; women’s trios & ensembles, instrumental groups (including wind and string instruments); photography, visual arts (sculpture, painting, graphic arts), videography, recording, electronics, lighting, computers (various applications), multi-media, video production, radio production, writing (drama, dramatic readings, poetry), music composition and arranging, dance, mime, and signing for the hearing impaired.
