Purpose of Welcome Ministry
The purpose of the Welcome Ministry is to reach out to new people in a Christ-like way as they come through our doors, making them feel loved and accepted, helping them be enveloped into our church family. We also strive to create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere which makes all attendees feel comfortable while attending Eastmont services; to coordinate the seating of all attendees, maintain order, officiate offerings, gather attendance data and enhance a worshipful atmosphere.

Greeters: Our greeters are the friendly faces that greet you each week and distribute the weekly church bulletin. Greeters are also committed to answering your questions and helping you find you way around the Eastmont campus.

Ushers: Ushers coordinate the seating at our weekend services, maintain order, officiate offerings, gather attendance data, and seek to enhance a worshipful atmosphere.

“Connecting Corner”: Our “Connecting Corner” is a central location in the narthex which offers a variety of brochures and information regarding all the ministry opportunities available at Eastmont. This is the place to find general Eastmont information, ways to become a part of a small group or class, and ministry opportunities. If you want to get “connected”, this is the place to be!

Bulletin Board Display: The Welcome Ministry also maintains the large bulletin board wall in the narthex providing a visual representation of all the ministry’s upcoming events.
