Dear Eastmont Women,

Women's Ministries exists to serve you. It is our high calling to be a community of women, on a journey together, stirring one another to become like Jesus as we live out our God-given purposes.

We are singles, wives, mothers, siblings, homemakers, daughters, career women, widows, single again. We are searchers, learners, the broken in spirit, mentors, teachers, survivors, the hurting, overcomers, the abused and addicted. We are united by a firm conviction that the love of God, the Father, the death and resurrection of Jesus and the healing power and enablement of the Holy Spirit are the answer to life on earth and for all eternity.

Bible Studies 2008-2009 (Click Here For More Information)
With God’s Word as our foundation, it is our desire to provide an opportunity for each woman and the friends they invite to grow spiritually, to build meaningful relationships, and to reach out to others. Our time together includes, fellowship, study and discussion time, sharing and prayer time. We also enjoy group luncheons together. Morning and evening studies are offered on Tuesdays, September through April, with small groups meeting through the summer months. On Tuesday mornings, nursery care is available for pre-toddlers. For toddlers thru 5-years old, our highly gifted children’s leaders provide a comprehensive program of activities, crafts and Bible education that parallel the offered study topic.

Ladies Fellowship Timeout 
Organized throughout the year are a variety of events that connect women one with another for fellowship with a purpose. A Fall Kickoff, dinners out and a Christmas brunch are typical of these events.

Women’s Retreat
An annual Women’s Retreat is planned for the last weekend in February. We consider this special time a “Weekend Haven”, where the rhythm of life slows down, and our thoughts are turned to God. This overnight retreat offers women and the friends they invite, the opportunity for personal spiritual growth, quiet time with the Lord, encouragement and the cultivation of special friendships.

Fun Fridays
This is an activity offered Friday mornings from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the gym at Eastmont. This play time offers children a safe, clean and warm environment with age appropriate toys. Running from October into the month of May, mom’s, dad’s and grandparents are invited to bring their children/grandchildren who are infant age through the age of 3 for two hours of play time.

Baby Love Baskets
A ministry of women who knit, crochet and quilt, infant sweaters, hats, mittens and blankets. These items are then added to a lovely gift basket loaded with special goodies and delivered to the hospital to new mom’s from Eastmont Church. Also included in this ministry are several home cooked meals that are delivered the first week mom and baby arrive home.
