It is a joy for me to be a part of the teaching & nurturing in a young childs life. My favorite part of our day is conversing with children. I love to listen to their thoughts & ideas while helping them learn & grow in their life experiences.
I am beginning my 6th year at Eastmont Community School. Jane Fiebeck and I are starting our 3rd year together as a teaching team. Our classroom is filled with laughter and the sounds of happy children learning together. We emphasize a Christlike atmosphere and a welcoming environment that our students feel comfortable in.
Before coming to Eastmont, I was on staff at my local church as Director of Children's ministry for 5 years. That ministry taught me the the value of organization & directing my attention to the needs of children.
My husband Chuck and I celebrated our 27th anniversary in July. We were blessed with 2 wonderful children. Our son is married and our daughter who is 19 still lives in our home. Chuck and I love to be with our family, travel, & go on road trips riding our Harley.
