Erin Berg
I am the privileged teacher of the Monday & Wednesday three year-old class. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and Individual & Family Development from Oregon State University. I previously worked for the Muscular Dystrophy Association providing medical clinics and summer camp to children living with neuromuscular diseases. I also worked for the American Heart Association as Director of a marathon training and fundraising program in Denver, Colorado. After 10 years in the non-profit sector I left the workforce to raise my 2 daughters. And now I am honored to be a part of the Eastmont Community School Staff.
I love teaching at Eastmont and it is exactly where God wants me to be. I enjoy every moment I am here at school! Every day I am in the classroom is an honor to me, watching each child learn, grow and become closer to God. Eastmont is not only a wonderful educational experience for children, but it is also a place where we can worship the Lord. What could be better!
I have been married for 7 years to Andrew, my exceptional husband. We have two amazing daughters, Lucie, 5 and Kate, 4 and a third on the way. We moved to Bend 5 years ago to be closer to family and raise our children in a small community centered town. Our goal as parents has always been to raise our children in a loving Christian home where family is the focus. We have the joy of attending Compass Church and being a part of a beautiful fellowship.
I spend most of my off time raising our two little monkeys. We love to take them camping, biking and to outdoor concerts. Music, reading, cooking and serving the Lord are a few of my many loves.
