Dina Weber
Hi, I am Dina Weber and I have been married to my wonderful husband Jon for 18 years. I have two fabulous children a twenty-three-year-old stepson and a sixteen-year-old daughter. This is my second year at the amazing Eastmont Community school and I am blessed to be teaching Kindergarten! I love working with children and sharing Jesus with them everyday! In my classroom I want to provide a climate of loving acceptance where all of my students are able to gain knowledge, practice problem solving, develop critical thinking skills and find joy in discovery. In the past I taught a variety of courses at Trinity Lutheran School here in Bend. I taught Physical Education to all grade levels, age three through high school sophomores and various combinations of three-year-old and four-year-old preschools, middle school and high school electives including PE and journalism. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I was the adviser for the student produced yearbook and newspaper and I enjoyed coaching middle school volleyball, basketball and track. My educational background and degrees are in Business Administration. I have an AA from Central Oregon Community College, I completed some of my course work at University of Oregon (go Ducks), and eventually earned my BSM degree from University of Phoenix. I have also completed colloquy training, an eight course graduate level study of Old Testament, New Testament, History of Theology and the Church, Christian Doctrine, Lutheran Confessions, Varieties of Belief, The Lutheran Teacher I, and The Lutheran Teacher II, through Concordia University Education network. I currently hold an Oregon Restricted Transitional Teaching License and am working toward my Master's in Education through Concordia University, Portland Oregon.
